Everyone—including students, staff, faculty, and their friends and family—is invited to participate in what's happening at the Wex. Join us at the Open House for free music, dance, hands-on ’zine making, gallery experiences with curators and educators, and films: see the day’s schedule below. The Wex is the place to explore the art and issues of our time in a friendly and inclusive environment. Stop by and see what we are all about!

Join artists from Ohio State’s Department of Art and the OSU Print Shop for an afternoon of ’zine making! Create your own small-format publication or take a kit to make one later.

The 2022 Sundance Film Festival Shorts Tour
Film/Video Theater

Free with ticket
This popular annual program returns with seven short films from the Sundance Film Festival’s shorts program. Spanning fiction, documentary, and animation from around the world, this year’s lineup provides a taste of what the festival offers while demonstrating how short films often transcend traditional storytelling. Learn more about Carlos Motta: Your Monsters, Our Idols and Sharing Circles: Carol Newhouse and the WomanShare Collective from exhibition curators Lucy I. Zimmerman and Daniel Marcus and Wex educators. The galleries stay open until 7 PM.

Join the interdisciplinary dance duo for an immersive and impactful pop-up performance. Orlando Zane Hunter Jr. and Ricarrdo Valentine are Brother(hood) Dance! and current graduate students at Ohio State’s Department of Dance.
